As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I understand mistakes can happen. However, this experience was frustrating because it wasn’t even a busy time. My mom ordered three items for takeout, and the employee repeated all three items back correctly on the phone. When we got our order, only two items were included. We were only charged for two items, but it’s still confusing how an item that was ordered and repeated back never made it onto the ticket. We also specifically asked for lettuce and tomato with the fish platter, and those were missing as well. I’m not trying to bash the restaurant, but attention to detail matters. This review is more of a heads-up for future takeout customers: check your order before leaving. Mistakes happen, but there were multiple things missed on a simple order that should have been caught.
We had no idea where to stop for dinner on our way out of town. This was such a great surprise! The food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes great, and service outstanding!
Would 100% recommend checking out during lent one of the better fish sandwiches I’ve ever had and the food came out so so fast and hot!!! Service was on point def give it a go if ur in the area
Great fish, chicken tenders, and sandwiches. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Only negative is no parking lot and limited on-street parking. If you order takeout fish sandwiches during Lent, it's best to have a driver and someone else to go in to pick up because it is so packed.
I moved up the street a few months back, ive driven past this place plenty of times but I dont necessarily drink so I looked away every time. But today I saw on Ch.11 news the fish fry they are serving for lent. I could've walked as close as I live but I drove because I was hungry. The dining room is in the back and away from the bar. I ordered and no lie, it was in front of me in 60secs...hot and fresh, How is that possible 🤯? After 1 bite i was hooked "no pun intended". I dont know what it was, but id come back to try other items from their full menu.
Went to E-town for a few drinks with my friends. The bartender gave me a menu at which I was looking at tapping on the bar in front of me bending ever so slightly. The bartender came up to me and said do not fold my menus. They took two hours to laminate. She was not a kind woman when she told me to stop. I go to hit my vaporizer and she tells me I’m not allowed to at the bar. I looked to my left, and there is a man hitting his vaporizer. Nothing was said to the man to my left. The staff at E town will select you out and make your experience hell.
This place is the bees knees if you're looking for great chicken tenders and burgers. Truly exceeded my expectations, and I already knew the tendies were the best in the Burgh. You can tell they are actually hand-breaded, and the burger was indeed fresh and delicious. If you pass this place and you're hungry, you're crazy. Service was excellent, as well.
Been driving by this place for a bit now and decided to stop in for some food and a beer. Service was friendly, food was hot and tasty. Decent draft selection, also had some good bottles. The bottle prices were pretty great, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's for $3.75. The food is reasonably priced. Nice clean bar with good food and beer.
